Wix x Woolkraft: Polina Raiko Blanket

This blanket was designed as a meaningful gift for the families of military employees at Wix Ukraine.

Created in collaboration with Woolkraft, the piece was inspired by the story of Polina Raiko, a Ukrainian naïve artist who began painting at the age of 69 and transformed her own home into a living canvas. Her house, once recognized as a cultural monument of national significance, stood as a symbol of resilience, imagination, and creative freedom. In June 2023, it was severely damaged by flooding caused by the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The blanket translates this story into a tactile object — a warm, functional piece carrying memory, care, and a quiet connection to Ukrainian visual culture.
